Yoga Nidra
If you have ever practiced yoga, you are likely familiar with Savasana or corpse pose. This is a classical relaxation posture that is incorporated into every yoga class. Additionally, there is a deeper relaxation practice known as Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra literally translates as Yogic Sleep although we don’t actually sleep during the practice. In reality, it’s “an expanded awareness while in a state of deep relaxation.”

Ayurveda is the healing branch or medical side of the system of yoga. It was devised by the yogis and seers to allow for maximum longevity for the pursuit of Yoga, as well as the other legitimate aims of life, and is a gift of their wisdom and compassion. The holistic and constitutional approach of Ayurveda adds much depth to any healing practice – filling in the gap left by other therapies and can be used to provide practical tools for changing your own health. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
